NORA BENALCAZAR
Through my artwork, I want to express emotions, dreams, and memories. My paintings are inspired by my surroundings and my senses. Nature has always been a great source of inspiration; the endless horizon and the sunrise, special and mundane
objects, and other forces of nature inspire me to create abstract compositions with bright colors that evoke feelings and tell stories.
Reflecting on my childhood memories has also allowed me to reconstruct and piece together fragments of that time that have profoundly shaped my life. I use these distant memories to construct my artwork. My main focus is on shapes, colors, textures, and movement. My goal is to compose an
abstract space where everyone can navigate and enjoy these memories and emotions.
A través de mis obras de arte, quiero expresar emociones, sueños y recuerdos. Mis pinturas están inspiradas en mi entorno y mis sentidos. La naturaleza siempre ha sido una gran fuente de inspiración; el horizonte infinito y el sol al amanecer, objetos especiales y mundanos y otras fuerzas de la naturaleza me inspiran a crear composiciones abstractas con colores brillantes que evocan sentimientos y cuentan historias.
También reflexionar sobre los recuerdos de mi infancia me ha permitido reconstruir y
armar fragmentos de ese tiempo que han marcado profundamente mi vida. Utilizo estos recuerdos lejanos para construir mis obras de arte.
Mi enfoque principal está en las formas, colores, texturas y movimiento en mis pinturas.
Mi objetivo es componer un espacio abstracto donde todos puedan navegar y disfrutar estos recuerdos y emociones.
